Porter welfare is not a marketing line here, it is weighed loads, proper mountain gear, and a wage that does not depend on tips to be fair. Camps are left exactly as we found them; everything carried up comes back down. And a share of every trip goes back into the village school near where Baraka grew up, because the company only makes sense if the mountain and the people on it are still standing in ten years.
