How booking works
No shopping cart, no instant checkout. Every trip is put together for the people going on it, then quoted in writing.
Karibu.Welcome.
There is no shopping cart on this website, and that is deliberate. A Kilimanjaro climb or a Tanzania safari is put together around the people going on it, so it is quoted rather than sold off a shelf. The four steps below are the whole process, start to finish.
From first message to the mountain
You tell Baraka what you have in mind
The days you have, roughly when, how many of you, and what you are hoping for. WhatsApp or the enquiry form, whichever you prefer. Rough is fine; he will ask the rest.
You get a written quote
A specific plan and a specific price for it, in writing, with what is and is not included. It costs nothing and it does not commit you to anything. Ask for it to be changed as often as you like.
A deposit secures the dates
Park permits and huts are booked in your name, which is why a deposit is needed to hold them. The amount and the date it is due are set out in your quote, not decided later.
The balance is paid before you travel
On the date your quote states. After that the only things left are your flights, your kit, and turning up in Arusha.
Paying, and staying safe doing it
How you can pay
Bank transfer (SWIFT). Visa & Mastercard via secure payment link. Cash for the balance on arrival.
Details come from your quote
Always. If you ever receive an email changing our account number, do not pay it: message Baraka on the number you already have and check. This is the one scam that targets trips like these.
No online checkout
Nothing on this website takes your money. There is no card form and no prepaid package, because no two of these trips are the same.
You are dealing with the owner
Not a booking desk in another country. Baraka reads his own messages and answers them himself, usually within a few hours.
Start with a quote
It is free, it is not a commitment, and it is the fastest way to find out whether what you have in mind actually fits the days you have.
Rather just ask a question first?
Baraka answers every message himself, usually within a few hours.
