Our entire group of eight summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro with Baraka as our guide. He is knowledgable, dependable and honest, and I would recommend him to anybody looking for a reputable guide in Tanzania.

On our first hike in Tanzania, we went to Mt. Meru (4566m). Baraka was our guide on this hike, and we quickly decided that we wanted him to be our guide on our attempt to klimb Kilimanjaro. Fortunately for us, he said yes. Baraka`s knowledge, experience and ability to motivate us during these hikes, is one of the main reasons we made it to the summit on both Mt. Meru, and Kilimanjaro. For anyone who is thinking about climbing Kilimanjaro, I would strongly recommend to hire Baraka and his crew. He made our hike to both Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro a complete success, and I have made a friend for life.

Baraka is amazing at getting you up and down Kilimanjaro, while providing an unforgettable experience for you and your group. He is knowledgeable, intelligent and extremely well equipped to climb Kili (or any other mountain). His expertise in health and wellness makes sure that you will be safe and sound. I loved my trip with him and have since remained friends.

I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro with a group of eight people. We all reached the summit! We had the best mountain guide you could ever hope to hike with, Baraka Dalali of Kilimanjaro Nature climbing company. His knowledge of the mountain, it’s flora and fauna, it’s routes and it’s weather patterns, is both comprehensive and amazing. On our climb he actually rescued a woman who had become separated from the group she was hiking with and was in a bad way suffering from the extreme cold and the altitude. When we reached the top she broke down in tears of gratitude. Baraka may have saved her life that day. I count him as a friend and give him my highest recommendation.

USA April 3, 2012 at 4:15 pm Cliimbing Kilimanjaro with Baraka was one of the most amazing experiences that my husband & I have had. Kilimanjaro was our first big climb and from the beginning of the ascent to the final few steps down he knew what each person in our group needed to continue. He was always concerned with our safety and well being. He never persuaded anyone to continue, or quit, and had a talent for providing each person with the tools needed to make the appropriate decision for themslves. It was because of this I believe everyone in our group made it to the summit. It was clear to see that everyone in the crew respected and enjoyed working with him and this made our experience more enjoyable & pleasant. On one of the final days of our trip as we got closer to the summit there was a young porter struggling and you could see he was not doing well. I could not understand what Baraka said to him but I could see that young man was encouraged and the most impressive move was to see Baraka take his backpack & carry it for the porter up to the top.No one would have know the difference if he helped that porter or not but it was evident by that gesture that we’d be save with Baraka as we reached the top.

Have fun with him!!!

Poland April 14, 2012 at 12:47 pm Together with my brother Sven we climbed the Kili under the guided supervision of Baraka and his team. (Afterwards we can say our friend Baraka). Although the climb asked a lot of our condition we had a lot of fun. (Baraka remember the 1,2,3 card game.) Sometimes me and my brother had a little bit too much fun, but then we always had Baraka saying: “boys save your energy, you will need it on the way to the top!” We learned a lot from Baraka about how to reach the top, but we also learned him a few words Dutch:) ‘lekker weertje he!’. If anybody wants to climb the Kili and make it to the top, then Baraka is your man!!

Caracas, Venezuela, April 20, 2012 at 9:40 pm Before starting to say something about Baraka’s knowledge and experience I want to thank him for what he did with such affectionate manners and care to guide me to the Kilimanjaro summit . It was the first time my wife and I were climbing such heights and considering that I decided to climb the Kili to celebrate my 70th anniversary, this climb was going to be the Experience of my life. Baraka make all what was necessary to make us fill safe and secure, giving confort and protecting us all the time without interfering or disturbing our experience, always with gentle manners and affection. Baraka Dalali of Kilimanjaro Nature is the person that I will recommend to my sons and daughter because he knows the mountain, he is honest, sensible and friendly, customer oriented , makes you feel safe with his own security, has a great knowledge of the Kili fauna and flora and besides that, he is a great human being.

Colorado USA August 10, 2012 at 1:43 pm From the moment that I met Baraka, we hit it off and I knew my climb of Kilimanjaro would be great. We summited using the 7 day Machame route, and everything went perfectly. I Can not imagine a better guide to take me up the mountain – from keeping me very safe, to entertaining me on the trails, to playing cards at night, to being so knowledgeable about everything on the mountain (plants, animals, rock formations, etc), Baraka did an amazing job. I would highly recommend him as a guide, especially after seeing some of the other guides on the mountain. Not only did I find a guide in Baraka, but I also found a trustworthy, funny, lifelong friend!

USA November 5, 2012 at 1:25 pm Baraka lead our team of 5 women up to the summit with sage wisdom, patience and kindness. I believe his “method” of pole pole ensured our summit. We named ourselves the “Tortoises” as we consistently trekked forward passing others who were reacting to the attitude due to improper leadership. During our ascent he was always monitoring our status and keeping those close who needed support to keep us on target. Baraka takes great pride in his team and they in turn work incredibly hard to take care us. I was very proud of our group and our accomplishment and recommend Baraka as a guide extraordinaire.

USA June18,2014 2:30am I am 6ft 2in, 280 pounds and I can not thank Baraka enough for getting me to the top of Killi! I arrived to Killi with food poisoning and a little altitude sickness but Baraka stayed very aware of my health and allowed me to push through under his supervision. I climbed with 2 others who also summited. We had such and amazing experience together I know that we will always remain life long friends. A few things I will always remember is hot tea and water for washing every morning, our amazing crew, all the laughs we had around the dinner table, and nobody is better at keeping a great PMA (positive mountain atitude) than Baraka! Do not climb Killi without Baraka!! “crazy cool like banana”
